Gratitude For Change

Do you know why you haven’t stepped outside your comfort zone in life? Why you haven’t shared your take on the world? You know you have the creativity, knowledge, and greatness inside to share but you second guess yourself time and time again, But why?

Why do we believe the nonsense that races in our minds? The answer is two little words…  Self-Doubt

We all have an enemy inside our minds that says we aren’t good enough. It’s like a terrorist living inside of your head laying, waiting for you to step outside your comfort zone to become someone better, but in a blink of an eye turns everything upside down or at least makes you think you aren’t capable of doing anything better for yourself.

That self-doubt has the ability to take away your true passion for purpose in life. It will take away your beautiful future and in turn, you may self-destruct if you give in to those chaotic ridiculous thoughts. That’s all they are… THOUGHTS. We are all capable of changing the way we see ourselves but you have to put in the work.

What you think, you will become. This has been a proven fact for hundreds of years. rather being positive or negative, it will manifest throughout your life. So, why not choose to be positive. Why not work on your inner thoughts to calm that chaos that’s been poisoning you for so long? Don’t you want to become a better version of yourself? Don’t you want to be able to say you are great and mean it when asked, how are you today? I know I do.

Greatness is a craft that you must work on in order to become the person you want to be. Who you see yourself as in the future. In order to do this, you must breakdown all of the things you aren’t doing well and work on changing them.

Rather it is your short temper, selfish ways, or your health. Change is always a good thing when we feel we are stuck in a neverending rut we want to be free of. Change isn’t for the weak because it takes dedication that few are capable of.

Some are too weak or just too lazy to change themselves. They crave it but are not willing to put in the work. So, they continue on a self-sabotaging path that leaves them feeling unhappy and unsatisfied, always looking for more but never being able to change anything, Dieing with an unfulfilled empty life. I know I don’t want to be that person. I want happiness. I want fulfillment and I’ll stop at nothing to achieve that.

The first step in changing your life starts with Gratitude. Focusing on all of the things you are grateful for. It can be something as simple as a smile given by a stranger or the colors of the sky nothing is off-limits when it comes to gratefulness. The air in your lungs is something you should be grateful for. Getting to wake up to have the opportunity to change is another. Like I said nothing is off-limits when it comes to being grateful.

Gratitude doesn’t have to be only for the “big” things in life. The habit of being grateful starts with appreciating every good thing in life and recognizing that there is nothing too small for you to be thankful for.

There are ways to find the greatness within and you will have to work at finding them, but refusing to change will do nothing for you, at this point you may have nothing to lose.

You’re not a product of your circumstances but rather a product of your decisions -Stephen Covey
